Stephanie Skaff is an artist and performer who makes projects that are often based on the stories of the American working class. She uses documentary-style techniques to create sound installations and performance works for diverse audiences. She is currently producing a web-based documentary series about gun violence in the United States for NYC's Downtown Community Television (DCTV). Prior to coming to DCTV, she created "Make Me One With Everything", a public performance installation based on the sounds and stories of New York City street vendors, with support from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Princess Grace Foundation-USA. Her past works have been presented at The Old American Can Factory, The Culture Project and The Construction Company. Stephanie is also a singer and musician who performs with the rock band, Frances. She was the recipient of a 2003 Princess Grace Foundation-USA Theatre Apprenticeship Award. Stephanie received a BFA in Dramatic Performance in 2001 from Unversity of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.
