Nicholle Rochelle-Stout

Initial PGF Award: Dance Fellowship, 2002

Nicholle Rochelle trained in Los Angeles at Malibu Civic Ballet and Westside Academy of Dance before attending Idyllwild Arts Academy. She completed all Royal Academy of Dancing exams with honors. In 1999, she was awarded the Bronze Medal in London at the Royal Academy of Dancing’s Adelene Geneé Awards. Before joining North Carolina Dance Theatre in 2000, she was a trainee with the Miami City Ballet, where she was given the Silver Medal for the Regional Arts and Letters Society competition.  In 2005, Nicholle was a finalist at the New York International Ballet competition.  Nicholle is a recipient of a 2002 Princess Grace Award.
