Adrienne Benz

Initial PGF Award: Dance Fellowship - Ballet, 2006

Adrienne Benz, a native of Vernon, New Jersey, started as a competition dancer performing along the east coast. She went on to train with Elaine Kudo at Theatre Arts Dance Academy in Verona, NJ. She has attended three summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre in New York City. After graduating from high school in 2003 Adrienne joined BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. In three years at BalletMet, she has performed works by choreographers such as Stanton Welch, Dwight Rhoden, Harrison McEldowney, Doug Varone, and George Balanchine. Adrienne recently performed at the XIII Annual International Contemporary Dance Conference and Performance Festival in Poland.
