ADRIANA SANANES (SAG-AFTRA-AEA) is a leading actress with the major NYC Hispanic theatre companies. Her performances of the leading Lorca and Spanish classical heroines were rewarded with the Princess Grace Foundation’s Theatre Fellowship, the Best Actress Award for El Burlador de Sevilla at the XIII International Festival in El Paso, the Hispanic Critics Association award for Antonio Machado’s Revoltillo and the Hispanic Association of Latin Actors award for Bernarda.. Adriana narrated the Oscar nominated and Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner documentary Children of Fate, and such bestseller novels as The Dark Bride, My Sister Frida and Loving Che. Her voice can be heard in many TV voice overs and radio spots. Last seen in NYC and Paris in Teatro Círculo’s Entremeses, and with the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre in Bernarda.
